Change

It isn’t always a bad thing, but there’s a fine line between a good change and a bad change when it comes to wanting others to change. You may argue that a person mustn’t have a want (or need) to change others, but sometimes a person is simply just looking out for them and trying to make another a better person, and making the world a better place. The difference between a good and bad change is usually the extent of the reason. Regardless, if you try to change a person it should always to better themselves. If it doesn’t, and you actually want to worsen a person then you’re just selfish and you need to learn to be selfless. The difference between the two is explicit reason on whether you want them to change of course besides for themselves, is for you and just you or you and everybody else around you.

If you think you’re perfect, don’t have a reason to change, and are not willing to change then well… get rid of that big ego for that’s the first thing that you have to change about yourself. When you get to know a person, you get to know the good and the bad in a different perspective from the person themselves - we don’t see ourselves the way others see ourselves. When you really get to know a person and you give them your trust, just trust them when they say you need to change. The intent may not be clear at the time, but in the long run change can be good for yourself and for everyone around you.

Unconditional, unavoidable, and unfortunate

All things unconditional are unavoidable and the combination of both is very much unfortunate. Sometimes we can’t help who we love or who are in our lives, but sometimes I wish there was more that I could do to make the experience a better one.

Surrounding

beemouth:

Surround yourself with happy people that make you smile, laugh, and experience joy.

Surround yourself with positivity to allow yourself to stay optimistic.

Surround yourself with humble people who remind you of the simple things in life.

Surround yourself with passion so you feel the meaning of love.

Stay humble, thankful, genuine, and never judgmental.

When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade

It’s always been a mantra of mine. I seem to believe that where there is good there is bad, or then there is bad. Luck only gets you so far, then its all up to mindset. How far you want to get in life is estimated by your efforts, and sometimes your pride. Know when to do what to do, and do it damn well.

I’ve been having the worst days lately, but this too shall pass. I think life’s throwing too many lemons at me and it doesn’t help that I’m beyond lazy. It’s time to get my ass off this lazy streak and walk on over to the other side, where the grass is always greener. Positive thinking only.

I took my grandma on a tour around Honolulu on the AlohaBus because she always sees them around town and wanted to ride one of the infamous double decker tour buses. While on the ride, there were earphones that were provided to listen to a narrated tour of some of the famous sites that existed. I learned a few facts about Hawaii for the time being that the earphones were actually in my ears. I have never been fond of history, but maybe it’s the classroom setting I’m not fond of. If I could go on tours to learn all about history I would because I love to travel. If it’s one thing on my bucket list, you can bet it’s to travel.

Journal entry

Let this be the first of my “journal” to help me grasp onto reality and what really matters. I’ve been wasting all this time on my sole happiness, not that focusing on happiness is a bad thing, but there are other things in life that matters too, aside from my happiness.

I wait for the worst to happen, and it just seems to get the best of me. Time to get back on track.
